BIOGRAPHY
I am an Atlanta-based professional highland bagpiper. Growing up immersed in the world of competitive bagpipes, I began bagpiping at the age of 10. For more than 30 years I have competed in solo and band competitions, nationally and internationally. My training includes the College of Piping in Glasgow, the Balmoral School, and the North American Academy of Piping. Amongst my mentors are Robert G. Richardson, Mike Cusack, Donald MacPhee, Jerry Finnegan, and Bob Worrall. I have played with Lothian and Borders (Edinburgh, 2001), the Hamilton Pipe Band (Houston, TX), Manchester Pipe Band (Manchester, CT), Atlanta Pipe Band (Atlanta, GA), St. Thomas Alumni Band (Houston, TX), and City of Dunedin Pipe Band (Dunedin, FL), as well as serving as pipe major of Ballentyne Memorial Pipe Band (Dallas, TX) and North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums (Dallas, TX). I have played for George W. Bush, Rod Stewart, the Chieftains, Celtic Woman,and Harpoon Breweries, as well as in numerous weddings, funerals, birthday parties, and St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
World Championship Achievements:
- 2025: Second place, Grade 2, Dunedin Pipe Band
- 2019: First place, Grade 2, St. Thomas Alumni Band
- 2018: Second place, Grade 2, St. Thomas Alumni Band

- First in MSR and Piobaireachd at the Southwest Quaich (2005)
- Second place in MSR at Metro Cup (2002)
- multiple years ranked in the top five of the EUSPBA (Eastern United States Pipe Band Association)
